Change the look of your WP site using themes
The ability to change a theme with one click was one of the first things that attracted me to WordPress, and I have to admit that the first time I tried it, I couldn’t believe my eyes how easy it was!
This is part 5 of a WordPress How-to video series.

And there are lots of sources for paid themes, like themeforest.net, woothemes and a lot others.
I also do a lot custom theme creation, so if you have a design you want me to do for you or want to have your site designed and coded, please, contact me here.

Images are a very important part of any site, and WordPress gives you a lot of control over your images, and it even added new features in WP 2.9 to make it even easier to control and edit without the need for any extra software.
How to Insert Images:
- Click on the first button next to the Upload/Insert found above the text input area in the Edit Post screen, and this opens up another where you get to choose your file and then click upload.
- Once uploaded you can have full control over your images as see below( click on image to see in full size).
Organize your Pages easily
This is part 4 of a WordPress How-to video series.
Although WordPress was initially a blogging platform, nowadays, lots of people are using as a regular website, or what’s called a CMS( content management system). To make this easier you need a way to control the pages especially if you have lots of them, in multiple levels.
This screen cast explains how to use a popular plugin for such a task called, Page Tree, which makes it super easy to control as many pages as you like. Of course you need to install the plugin first to be able to try what’s in the video yourself.
Topics covered in Screen Cast:
- Using page tree to have better control over your pages.
- How to find your page easily
You can get the free plugin here, Page Tree Plugin
Another plugin that you can use for the same purpose is called, PageMash.
I look forward to hearing any comments or suggestions and other plugins that you know with the same or better functionality.
