Add the read more link :: WP Quick tip 1
A lot of times you want to have your main blog page display only a part of your post and have a link that takes the reader to the post itself if they like it and want to learn more about the topic.
Some themes are setup to do so by default using what is known as the excerpt , however, most of the others will need a small step on your part.
To do so:
While in the Edit Post panel, just place your cursor where you want the text to get cut off, and click on the “Insert More Tag” button above.( see screen shot for to find out how the button looks), save your changes and you’re good to go.
Very simple, right!
Try it and let me know if you face any problems with it.

Why WordPress?
My first encounter with WordPress dates back to September 2007, when I published my first blog, El Malak Pharmacy Blog. since then I never stopped using WordPress and learning new things about it every day.
I have to say that I was very attracted to it, and every time I learn something new or make a new web site using it, I find a lot more to learn. It really is a deep sea to explore!
So, what are the reasons for my love of WordPress?
